My name is Ryan Fraser and I am the lucky Tumuaki of Ardgowan School. I have been teaching for 20 years now and this is the second principal appointment of my career. I love seeing kids being active and engaged in their community and I endeavor to bring this into the school I lead. I believe that relationships are the basis for a great learning environment and at Ardgowan School we focus on building relationships with our children and their whanau to ensure they are comfortable and relaxed in the school.

Our school is set in a picturesque rural setting, which is only 5 mins from the centre of historic Oamaru. The Ardgowan team is professional and dedicated and always has the children’s best interests at heart. I would be proud to show you around our beautiful school and welcome you to Ardgowan.
